A very young client turned out to be a unique artist and clearly understood and identified that their family was in need of change to their current living accommodations. Like many others, this client hired us to determine what we could do to expand and #renovate their current home to accommodate a growing family.
Ultimately, our client did not move from the preliminary #design process to formal #architect drawings to expand and #renovate their home. The client acted on our professional advice to purchase another home that was already the right size and recently renovated. There were many factors in this decision including the length of time to complete a renovation with a young family together with the cost to make a change to the existing structure.
It may seem odd we would discourage a client to proceed with us but it was the right decision for this particular client. We are fortunate we have been able to grow our business based upon this philosophy and I am proud to tell this story. Most of our projects move from the #architect to the #generalcontractor stage and it is worthwhile work knowing that we help our clients. We are building lives, not only designing and building homes. It's a great example of how Ron Trebbi, #Architect and #GeneralContractor also Helps a Young Client.
I thought it would be timely to share a few rooms specifically designed for our younger clients. The bedroom was a #customdesign in a very small space to provide adequate storage for this growing child. The library was a #customdesign as part of a large bedroom suite for a young client combining work space and a child cave where the client could also relax and/or entertain friends.
